Welcome to The Four Sisters Boatel Accommodation Page

The Four Sisters Boatel is a houseboat with a difference and a first for Edinburgh. She is a wide-beamed barge measuring 55ft by 10ft 6” , with 6ft 4" of headroom and sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children comfortably. A double bed settee is also availible to accommodate larger groups at an extra cost of £20 per additional person per night.   She is permanently moored in Lochrin Basin and may be accessed via Lower Gilmore Place or Fountainbridge.  [please check our contact page for directions]     She comprises of: 2 double cabins ( Plasma TV/DVD player with wireless headphones)   Lounge with double bed-settee   Fully equipped galley kitchen with breakfast bar and stools   Recess with small bunk beds   Shower room with WC/WHB

The interior living space is surprisingly spacious. We have full central heating on board so passengers should always be cosy even in the coldest of winters and further electric heating is also available throughout the boatel if required. Any level of catering can be accomplished in the superbly equipped black gloss galley kitchen. The two beautifully dressed double cabins are compact but offer the ultimate in luxury and comfort. Please bear in mind that living on board any vessel is unlike being land bound in a flat or apartment. Floor space is tight within the cabin areas so our advice would be to travel light and avoid hard case luggage for storage purposes. There is no floor space within the cabins for a cot but we have a portable cot available which can be set up in the lounge and used in conjunction with our baby monitor. Recessed child sized bunk beds are located in the stern measuring 2' 6" x 5' 4" (suitable for 10 years and under). There is a double sofa bed in the lounge to can accommodate larger groups.

Prices include your sole use of The Four Sisters Boatel for up to 4 adults and 2 children.

(prices vary on special events such as rugby, New Year and valintines day)

A further 2 people can be accommodated for an additional £15 per person per night on a large sofa bed in the livingroom.
